Exciting Summer For Concerts

This summer should be a great season for concerts. Many great bands, singers and artists have announced tours, some of which start soon. Taylor Swift may be one of the top tours this summer but she has some competition… Kenny Chesney, U2, Keith Urban, NKOTB & BSB, Jimmy Buffett, Josh Groban and many others will be taking the stage this summer.

I am interested to see if the Foo Fighters will add more USA dates. Also, it will be interesting to see if Nickelback goes back on tour.

As far as comedy, the biggest tour might be Jeff Foxworthy, Larry the Cable Guy and Bill Engvall. There hasn’t been much talk or rumors about other comedy tours. Maybe Jerry Seinfeld will add more dates as usual.

In a few weeks, American Idol will be nearing he series finale and they usually release an ‘American Idols Live’ tour which does well.

Even Charlie Sheen is touring. I am not too sure what he will be doing on his tour but he is the center of the entertainment world right now. I wouldn’t let anyone under 18 into those shows hana.

Summer Concert Tours 2010

Summer 2010 is going to be a great season for concerts! Justin Bieber, Paul McCartney, Taylor Swift, Tom Petty, Dave Matthews Band, Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas, Pearl Jam, Diana Ross, The Eagles and so many others are hitting the road this summer.  All Good Seats is a great resource for concert fans to buy concert tickets.

Simon and Garfunkel: Old Friends

Simon and Garfunkel have just announced tour dates that will take them from spring 2010 into early summer.  The tour dates were announced as an addition to previously released tour dates in Australia.

The first date on the tour schedule comes at the Jazz and Heritage Festival in New Orleans, LA.  The band then hits cities such as Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Fargo, St. Paul, Madison, Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal.  The tour is primarily Canadian cities and venues.  Simon and Garfunkel plan may add additional US cities at the end of their Australian tour.

Potential cities to be added to the tour include: Boston, New York, Phoenix, Dallas, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Miami or Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, Orlando, Houston, Nashville and Saint Louis.

Simon and Garfunkel have not been on tour together since the 03-04 “Old Friends Tour”.   They did however generate speculation of another tour when they united on stage during a February 2009 grand reopening concert for Beacon Theatre in NY.
