Fans have patently waited and this time it paid off! The Rolling Stones have announced their 15 city Zip Code Tour kicking off on May 24th in San Diego. The announcement comes after it was cancelled once to fans disappointment.
The name of the Stones tour focuses around the 1971 classic album cover “Sticky Fingers” which the band expects to reissue in deluxe format on May 26th.
“We are excited to be back in North America playing stadiums this summer,” Mick Jagger said in a statement. “We are looking forward to being back onstage and playing your favorite songs.” The singer added in a promo video for the tour, “People say, ‘How come you’re still doing this?’ but I can’t believe I did this when I was 20.”
Rolling Stones tickets are expected to go onsale April 13th to the general public for all US shows while Quebec goes on sale on April 11th.
