Gillette-Stadium-ConcertsGillette Stadium may be known for it’s sports events (New England Patriots, UMass Minutemen football and New England Revolution), but it is also becoming very well known for it’s concerts during the summer.  While the Patriots are in their off-season and the Revolution are not occupying the stadium, the venue books many large-scale, impressive concerts.

This weekend, Taylor Swift will be performing 2 sold out concerts at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.  Last weekend, it was Bon Jovi that performed in front of a sold out crowd at Gillette Stadium.  This August, Kenny Chesney will also be performing 2 sold out concerts at Gillette Stadium (with Eric Church, Eli Young Band, and Kacey Musgraves).

In past years, many more great acts have performed at Gillette Stadium including Bruce Springsteen, Toby Keith, U2, Elton John (with Billy Joel), Carrie Underwood and more.  Taylor Swift has performed at Gillette Stadium many times before and she has enjoyed performing in Foxborough, MA.

Whether you’re traveling to Gillette Stadium for a Patriots game or a sold out concert at Gillette Stadium, you’re going to need tickets for the show.  You can purchase tickets for events at Gillette Stadium online at a premium Foxborough ticket broker like FoxboroTicketKing.com.

This morning, I was looking for a version of the performance by Jack Black and Casey Abrams to listen to and I came across a great site called MP3Skull.com. The site is great.  There are tons of versions of each song, a massive song selection and an option to download the song you’re looking for.  If you’re looking for a place to find mp3s or listen to music, check it out.

This summer should be a great season for concerts. Many great bands, singers and artists have announced tours, some of which start soon. Taylor Swift may be one of the top tours this summer but she has some competition… Kenny Chesney, U2, Keith Urban, NKOTB & BSB, Jimmy Buffett, Josh Groban and many others will be taking the stage this summer.

I am interested to see if the Foo Fighters will add more USA dates. Also, it will be interesting to see if Nickelback goes back on tour.

As far as comedy, the biggest tour might be Jeff Foxworthy, Larry the Cable Guy and Bill Engvall. There hasn’t been much talk or rumors about other comedy tours. Maybe Jerry Seinfeld will add more dates as usual.

In a few weeks, American Idol will be nearing he series finale and they usually release an ‘American Idols Live’ tour which does well.

Even Charlie Sheen is touring. I am not too sure what he will be doing on his tour but he is the center of the entertainment world right now. I wouldn’t let anyone under 18 into those shows hana.

What concert are you most excited for this summer?

Bon JoviBon Jovi’s “Circle Tour,” which began in February 2010, played to 1.5 million fans around the world and grossed more than $146 million in ticket sales.

The tour included four sold-out shows to open the New Meadowlands Stadium and upcoming shows Feb. 24, 25 and March 5 at Madison Square Garden in New York City and March 2 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

“We’ve had five albums in this decade, we’ve toured every one, and people came back every time,” lead singer Jon Bon Jovi said to Billboard. “It says something for the band and the production and the performance that people feel they’re getting their money’s worth, especially in this economic downturn.”

Jon Bon Jovi and Friends are scheduled to perform a benefit show for the Parker Family Health Center in Red Bank Jan. 27 at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville.

The band is nominated for possible induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The names of the 2011 inductees will be announced Wednesday morning.
