The Boston Celtics are down 2 games to 0 in the  NBA Eastern Conference Semi Finals to the Miami Heat.  Game 3 is tonight in Boston.  With aging players, fatigue and injuries, are the Boston Celtics capable of stopping 2 of the best offensive players in the game (Lebron James and Dwayne Wade)?

Boston has struggled late in the game for the first two games.  Not having Shaquille O’Neal has proved to be an issue because there is a lack of consistency in the center position.  The Boston “Big Three” has been out played in my mind by Rajon Rondo.  Rondo’s roll is a tough one this series.  The Miami Heat are focusing in on Rondo thinking that if they can handle Rondo, they can handle the rest of the Celtics.

The series is back in Boston for a few games and Miami has a chance to make things real difficult for the Celtics to get back in this series.  Many people picked the Celtics in 6 or 7 games to win this series.  Well, they are now back 2 games and will need to turn the ship around and find a way to win 4 games against the Miami Heat who are looking to move on to the next round as early as possible.

Also happening in Boston, the Boston Bruins have taken a 3-0 series lead against the Philadelphia Flyers… De Ja Vu?  I hope not!  Last time the Bruins lead the series vs Philadelphia 3-0 (last year), the Bruins were eliminated after loosing the next 4 games.  They now have 3 chances to win 1 more game against the Flyers.  Game 4 is in Boston…
