george-straitThe retiring country singer, George Strait, is finalizing his farewell tour and what better way to cap it off than to set a US concert attendance record!  104,793 fans packed the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas to bid farewell to George Strait.  A record for the largest concert crowd at an indoor venue in the USA.

His “Cowboy Rides Away Tour” spanned 2 years and included several stadiums and other large venues.  Fans were eager to see Strait play his final concert in their city.  Not only did George Strait break the record, he shattered it.  The previous record was the Rolling Stones at the Louisiana Superdome in 1981 (87,500).  The new record is an impressive 17, 293 higher than the now 2nd place show.

At 10:40 PM, George Strait left the stage, one final time, to a seemingly never-ending standing ovation and deafening scream by the 100,000 plus in attendance.  The concert was filled with super-star appearances by fellow country stars that joined Strait to pay tribute to a pioneer that helped put Country music where it is today.  It was a very memorable night for the fans as well as George Strait himself.  Guests included Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson, Martina McBride, Faith Hill and others.

garth-brooks-countrymusicisloveIt has already been confirmed that Garth Brooks will be going on a world tour. From open confessions in interviews, to a hat on the Tonight Show that says “Garth Brooks World Tour” it is no secret that Brooks will be going on a world tour in 2014. The question is when will he announce it and where will his tour begin. While it can be debated all day long when Garth will be announcing his tour, we can speculate on where his tour will start.

One option is that Garth begins his tour on the eastern side of the US and make his way across the top of the US and Canada until he hits California. From there he will hit all the southern cities making his way back towards the east. This is a popular trend in concert artists because it allows them to cover each major city in the US and Canada in an orderly fashion. That means there won’t be too much traveling between stops. If Garth goes this route then it is most likely that he will start his tour in New York or Boston.

A second option is that Garth will begin his tour where most of his fans are, in the south. Since Garth is such a popular artist it might not be a bad idea for him to begin his tour in the Southern states and work his way in the opposite direction. This way once he has completed his tour in America he could possibly be looking at more dates in the Southern states of the US. His music is so popular that it is entirely possible that he could sell out multiple events in the same city during different times of the year. With that being said we speculate that Garth could begin his tour in Nashville or even further south in Houston.

Garth BrooksThe rumor-mill is spinning out of control!  What is going on with Garth Brooks?

He’s just sold out 5 shows in Dublin Ireland at a venue called Croke Park which holds 80,000 fans (400,000 total tickets sold) and also just performed on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno for Leno’s last song.  Garth Brooks was sporting a Garth Brooks World Tour hat which pretty much was an obvious-subtle hint.

There is lots of talk about Garth Brooks announcing a full, 3 year world tour which would include Europe, North America, Australia, Asia and South America.  Fans have patiently waited over 10 years for a tour from Garth.  The best they’ve got were a few public appearances and a few live shows at the Wynn in Las Vegas in 2013.

In a video interview before a CBS broadcast of the love concert in Vegas, Brooks tip-toed around the question of a tour but confirmed that he is working on a tour.  It’s expected that Garth Brooks will hit major markets and hot spots like Dallas, Nashville, Boston, Houston, Chicago and others as part of his North American Leg of his comeback tour.

Regardless of the venue, city and date, each show will sell out within minutes!  (Source)

Boletos PrimaA new website has just been launched for customers primarily speaking Spanish.  The site, BoletosPrima.com (Premium Tickets), was conceptualized and developed in 2012 and officially launched in February, 2013.  The site focuses on concert events including Latin singers and bands but also has tickets for non-Latin events such as Justin Bieber, Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, One Direction, Kenny Chesney, Taylor Swift and more.

BoletosPrima.com is built with Spanish language to make the ticket selection and ticket purchase process easier for customers that do not speak Spanish.  The venue map with a list of tickets is fully in Spanish as well as the checkout, order confirmation and receipt.  As of now, there are not many ticket websites that offer this and customers must rely on the browser to translate the text for them.

Customer support is also offered in Spanish, however, temporarily, the caller must hit a number to prompt a Spanish speaking operator to assist with orders, event information and purchasing options.  A new customer support phone number can be expected soon and will be answered only in Spanish.

Boletos Prima offers customers a 100% Ticket Guarantee which protects customers from fraudulent tickets, cancelled events, wrong seats, and late delivery.  (Details)

With a vast knowledge of the ticket industry, top ranking events and cutting edge technology, BoletosPrima.com is on pace to be a top-rated Spanish ticket site very quickly.  Thousands of pages are already indexed with a major search engine and traffic is growing daily.  Recent efforts have been made to promote the site via social networking.  The Boletos Prima Twitter account is set up and users can expect frequent updates via Twitter in Spanish.  A Boletos Prima Facebook page has also been created which will include news and updates in Spanish as well.  A Boletos Prima Google + page has been created and will be further developed for users that currently take advantage of Google +.

Some of the top Latin acts that are on sale right now include, Alejandro Sanz, Juanes, Marc Anthony, Gipsy Kings, Thalia, Romeo Santos, Vicente Fernandez and more.  There are also some important key tours that are rumored to be unleashed soon that will draw mass Latin appeal including Christina Aguilera, Selena Gomez and Pitbull.  Boletos Prima has a page dedicated to the top Latin artists that we can’t live without.  Their music has sold millions and can be recognized on any continent.  Singers and bands such as Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, Daddy Yankee, Pitbull, Mana, Gloria Estefan, Gipsy Kings, Enrique Iglesias, Carlos Santana, Marco Antonio Solis, Prince Royce, Shakira, Romeo Santos, Vicente Fernandez and much, much more.

This morning, I was looking for a version of the performance by Jack Black and Casey Abrams to listen to and I came across a great site called MP3Skull.com. The site is great.  There are tons of versions of each song, a massive song selection and an option to download the song you’re looking for.  If you’re looking for a place to find mp3s or listen to music, check it out.
