foo-fightersThe Foo Fighters are coming to Fenway Park!  On July 18th and 19th, they will be taking the stage at America’s Most Beloved Ballpark.  This is exciting news for Foo fans in the New England region.  The information about on sale and pre sale dates is not yet available.

The 2 dates are on a Saturday (July 18th) and Sunday (July 19th).  Concert times are expected to be 7:00 or 7:30 pm.  The Boston Red Sox will be out of town on a road trip leaving the ballpark vacant for a set of concerts.  The news of these shows come just days after James Taylor announced that he was playing at the historic Fenway Park as well.

The Foo Fighters are very well known for their innovative and recognizable alternative and rock songs dating back to the 1990’s.  Some well known songs include Skin and Bones, Learn to Fly, Big Me, Everlong and many others.

1400228168b6b742_lSo far, not many concerts have been announced for summer 2015 in Boston.  However, a few big shows were recently announced.

Taylor Swift will be performing at Gillette Stadium for 2 shows on July 24th and July 25th.  These shows are located at Gillette Stadium which is south of Boston in Foxborough, MA.

It was recently announced that James Taylor will host a concert at Fenway Park in Boston on August 6th.  He will be joined by his All Star Band and Bonnie Raitt will be the opening act.

One Directioners know that the English pop/rock boy band, One Direction, will be headlining at Gillette Stadium on September 12th in Foxborough.

Also coming to Gillette Stadium is Kenny Chesney, a country music mega-star!  He will be hitting the stage August 28th and 29th.

Other shows coming to Boston… Bette Midler (6/12), Barry Manilow (6/16), Nickelback (8/18), 5 Seconds of Summer (8/28) and the Who (10/29).  More concerts will be added within the next few months.

james-taylor-4e4bf4300cd25The tickets for James Taylor at face value are listed between $50 and $140 (excluding fees and shipping).  The price for pre-sale and public on sale tickets are the same, there is no discount for the pre-sale.

The pre-sale tickets have sold out for James Taylor at Fenway Park on August 6th, 2015 and the general, public on sale will likely sell out within minutes as well.  At that point, tickets among ticket resale sites will likely range from $110 and up depending on the seat types.

james-taylor-fenway-parkBoston music legend, James Taylor, will be bringing his All Star Band to Fenway Park next August along with Bonnie Raitt.  Tickets will be on sale Friday to the general public and they are available through pre-sale and advanced purchase now.  You can order your tickets online by visiting James Taylor’s official website or by going to the Red Sox official website.  If tickets are unavailable or sold out, you can also purchase tickets for the show at a reputable ticket resale site like Fenway Ticket King.

Seats that will be available include field (floor) seats, grandstands (infield and outfield), pavilion, loge, box, dugout and sro (standing room only).  Seats that will not be available will include the bleachers and Green Monster seats.

James Taylor has announced that he is releasing a new song in tribute of the Red Sox / Fenway Park, titled, ‘Angel of Fenway’.  His new album will be released soon along with that new single.  The general on sale for the concert will be Nov 21 (Fri) at 10:00 am.  The pre-sale has already started.  Fenway Ticket King has tickets already for the show; try their website if you’re having trouble finding tickets for sale.

Tom Petty’s concert at Fenway Park has officially sold out!  The legendary rocker and his Heartbreakers band have sold all tickets for the Fenway Park show in Boston on August 30th, 2014.  It took a matter of minutes for the show to sell out, leaving thousands of fans without tickets to the show.
