All good things come to an end. For Judas Priest, the exit light at the end of the tunnel began shining in December 2010 when the band announced it would rock the world one last time, slotting Europe for summer 2011 followed by a fall run through the U.S. and Canada.

The North America portion of the “Epitaph” tour begins at San Antonio’s AT&T Center Oct. 12. Other stops include Corpus Christi at Concrete Street Amphitheatre Oct. 14; Chula Vista, Calif., at the Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre Oct. 19; Los Angeles at the Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal CityWalk Oct. 25; Seattle’s WaMu Theatre Oct. 29; Vancouver, British Columbia, at Rogers Arena Oct. 30; Salt Lake City’s Maverik Center Nov. 4; Detroit’s Joe Louis Arena Nov. 13 and E. Rutherford, N.J., at the Izod Center Nov. 18.

Although the band announced the farewell tour in late 2010, original guitarist K.K. Downing retired from the group two months ago and was replaced by 31-year-old British axeman Richie Faulkner.
