Jam band O.A.R. has extended plans for its current tour, adding a new leg of concert dates for the United States in early fall. The second leg of the national tour begins September 15 at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater, FL, and wraps October 9 at Fox Theater in Oakland, CA.
The 15-date addendum focuses primarily on Gulf Coast and West Coast markets, with a few forays into other regions of the United States. Booked performances include September 20 at the House of Blues in New Orleans, LA; September 25 at PNC Park in Pittsburgh, PA; and October 6 at Paramount Theatre in Seattle, WA.
The first public onsales for the tour begin over the July 16-18 weekend. Ticket face values range from just under $30 up to $40 for most of the concerts facing upcoming onsales, according to current listings on Ticketmaster.com.
O.A.R.’s summer tour leg launched July 8 in Indianapolis, following a special July 1-2 stint at Summerfest in Milwaukee. Although only a couple weeks old, the trek has not been without incident. A planned July 13 at Sokol Auditorium in Omaha, NE, was cancelled last night after inclement weather disrupted the group’s travel plans.
