Snow Patrol will release a new album next year. The band said that the successor of ‘A Hundred Million Suns’ (2008) will begin to be recorded in October.
Drummer Jonny Quinn said the group does not have an exact date for the release of his next album: “It will definitely happen next year, but I do not know when. It will be after February and before July. We will begin recording new material in October.”
Quinn added that the British band has spent the past month seeking inspiration: “These days, the best is to be near the sea. Live by the sea in Ireland and this place is what inspires me most when I’m sitting on the beach with a guitar. But compose everywhere: in tour buses, backstage, studio or in phone booths, now that nobody uses them because they all have cell phones.”
