After the announcement that Liam Gallagher will produce a movie about the Beatles, Much is speculated about the plot of the film, an adaptation of the book The Longest Cocktail Party: An Insider’s Diary of the Beatles, Their Million Dollar Apple Empire and Its Wild Rise and Fall, written by Richard DiLelo.

In an interview to the newspaper The Guardian, Liam Gallagher cleared up the rumors saying that the movie is not exactly about the Beatles.

“The movie is about the guy who is behind the scenes, the one who sits in his office at Apple Records. The Beatles are not in the movie. I’m not auditioning for anyone to climb the roles of John, Paul, George and Ringo. I think that was the problem all the films about the Beatles made so far, they do not speak the scenes, “explained Gallagher.

The former lead singer of Oasis also said it will not use the Beatles songs on the soundtrack and climbed his new band to compose the songs. “Ok, we could use songs by The Beatles, but I think it is much more valid than my band create songs that refer to cultural and historical context of the band than just lay there a version of Let it Be, You know, “added the musician, who obviously must also have given up the idea because of the rights to self-test for the Fab Four’s catalog.
